Michelle Christovich is a San Francisco Bay Area attorney who is passionate about assisting entrepreneurs who want to use business as a tool for social change. Michelle’s approach to practicing law is centered on the concept that the best way to help the people she serves is to take the time to understand their goals in order to customize creative solutions.
Michelle advises startups and non-profits on a variety of matters, including:
- Entity choice and formation
- Intellectual property protection (including trademark, trade secrets, and copyright)
While at UC Hastings, Michelle served as Executive Managing Editor of the Communications and Entertainment Law Journal, which published her article on privacy issues related to fitness trackers, and she provided pro bono legal services to early-stage startups through the Startup Legal Garage clinic. She was also awarded CALI & Witkin awards in multiple courses, including Data Privacy and Digital Media Law.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys traveling, reading, and yoga.
